Turbomachinery Laboratory soliciting abstracts for 2024 Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium

Turbomachinery Laboratory soliciting abstracts for 2024 Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium

Fifth biennial ATPS set for 13 – 16 May 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University, host of the Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium (ATPS), has announced dates for its 2024 conference and is inviting contributions to the technical program.

Stationed in the fastest-growing market for energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing, ATPS is the ideal training and networking opportunity for professionals in pump, turbomachinery, and associated industries. ATPS 2024 is set for 14 – 16 May at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Full-day short courses will be held in conjunction with the event on 13 May.

ATPS builds upon the success of the longstanding Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia (TPS) in Houston, featuring an international exhibition and a uniquely crafted technical program, hand-picked by an advisory committee of key industry players.

Industry academics and professionals are invited to craft one- to three-page abstracts for lectures, tutorials, case studies and short courses to be presented at and published in the Proceedings of ATPS. The abstract is 28 May 2024.  Learn more at atps.tamu.edu/.

“ATPS is the ideal platform for turbomachinery experts in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region to network, learn and see the latest technical developments,” said Manoj Gupta, ATPS advisor and founder and CEO of Guroomed, Inc. “Contributors to the technical program have a unique opportunity to meet industry experts and decision-makers on important projects, and to strategically place their companies and latest products in front of potential clients in the rapidly-changing market. The advantages of submitting an abstract for ATPS abound. If you’re adept in this industry, I highly encourage you to participate.”

Papers must be aimed at engaging the end-user and be free of commercialism. References to commercial products, trade names, and manufacturing companies must be avoided. Submissions should be field-tested and share practical – not theoretical – information. For more information on submission guidelines and to submit an abstract, visit the following link.
