Texas A&M Turbomachinery Laboratory Announces ATPS 2026 Dates and Call for Papers

April 15, 2025 By ATPS

The Texas A&M Turbomachinery Laboratory, host of the Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia, is pleased to return to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for its sixth ATPS in May 2026 and is now soliciting abstracts for the technical program.

Operating in the rapidly growing market for rotating equipment repair across oil & gas, power generation, and manufacturing industries, ATPS offers rotating equipment professionals worldwide an ideal opportunity to network, exchange knowledge, and learn from our global technical expert community. ATPS 2026 will take place from 19-21 May at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, with full-day short courses will be held on 18 May 2026.

ATPS builds upon the long-standing success of its sister symposia, the Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia, held for 53 years in Houston, TX USA, featuring a world class exhibition hall and a diverse technical program. The program is reviewed and tailored by an advisory committee comprised of key industry leaders

“ATPS has grown exponentially in the last three events and is now the go-to event.  Our attendees advocate for our program and exhibition claiming that our unique approach delivers business results through improved reliability and novel application solutions.  While it also advances or accelerates their career prospects by providing networking and training by the renowned experts in our discipline,” shares Dag Calafell, ATPS Advisory Committee Chairman.

Submissions should focus on field-tested, practical information rather than solely on theoretical concepts.  Papers should preferably include end-user authors and remain free of commercialism or product promotion. For further details on submission guidelines, deadlines, or to submit an abstract, visit https://atps.tamu.edu/program/submissions/.

The Turbomachinery Laboratory is also extending invitations for major sponsors for ATPS 2026.  Sponsorship benefits include enhanced brand awareness through event advertising and media coverage, preferential speaking opportunities, direct access to target audiences, increased exhibition ROI, and valuable business relationship building.  To learn more about sponsorship packages, contact Greg Gammon, Director of Global and Corporate partnerships, at [email protected].
