Most conferences are highly academic oriented, so you have very few conferences that are industrial oriented. ATPS is one that is industrial oriented. It’s good for academics to know what’s happening in industry so their research can be oriented to the industry, rather than purely academic. People who attend will benefit from the value the industry brings in, and what’s really relevant.

Valid student or faculty ID must be presented at badge pickup. Faculty may attend the symposium for free with the exception of short courses. Students may also attend for free and will be admitted for short courses if seats are available.
