The User’s Voice: Aligning Technology and R&D Priorities with Operational Reality

TUESDAY, 19 MAY 2026 | 0900 –1030

Moderated by Christer Björkqvist, this panel will place global user priorities in a regional context, highlighting key technical challenges, operational realities and future decarbonisation strategies that should shape future R&D priorities.

A question-and-answer session will follow with networking at the Exhibition finishing the event.

Digital Transformation for Operation Excellence: Achievements and Values

WEDNESDAY, 20 MAY 2026 | 0900 – 1030

The global push toward Net Zero has intensified the need for industrial sectors to reduce emissions and adopt cleaner technologies. Turbomachinery and pump systems are central to power generation, oil and gas, manufacturing, and emerging clean energy systems. As such, they play a crucial role in both contributing to and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.

Industry players are now investing in emission reduction technologies, carbon capture integration, energy efficiency improvements and digital optimization tools to enhance environmental performance. ATPS 2026 provides a timely platform to examine how the turbomachinery sector is responding to sustainability demands while maintaining operational reliability and productivity.
